This is our first big project. The first site was to be a general site about me, why NMD is a site to explain why I chose New Media and what I am going to do after I leave. The third site was to be made about anything that I want so I chose GeoGuessr. I was a bit ambitious though and only the North America and GeoGuessr Home sites work.

NMD Introduction

I have been using a computer my entire life, and I would like to believe I am quite good at it. Previously, I have taken a course using C++, and I know the basics of the language. I also have written a tiny bit of many other languages, but none really to any avail. I have been using After Effects and Premiere Pro (both apps by Adobe,) for quite some time. So, I have some experience in design but more in the motion design part of it. I have made very basic HTML websites in the past, and I have a bit of experience using Wordpress, but nothing really exceptional.

I graduated from Grade 10 computer science with a 100%. I also have a bit more experience working on a few projects in many different coding languages. Ever since I was in the 5th grade I have tried my hands in many different projects, starting on Roblox, which eventually led me here!

A loooooong time ago I have made a few very basic games in the Roblox engine, which uses the LUA programming language (one of the easiest to learn languages, but still quite useful) This allowed me to garner an intrest into programming and game design, as seen by my later ventures into Unity.

I've tried Unity a few times before, not really getting that far but I did learn the basics of making a 2D top-down game and writing simple programs in C#. Although, it was quite awhile ago so I do not know how much I really remember.

My biggest projects in coding include BonziBot(not BonziBuddy the computer virus.) It was a bot that me and my friend made, and it has many features for anyone to use on Discord. Although it doesn't get updated very much anymore, I am currently on the side working on a few features in DSharpPlus (which is c#, the bot was written in JavaScript.) I love playing rhythm games, whether it is at the arcade or at home it is my main hobby and one day I would like to become good at it. Some include:

The background colour (#1f1e33,) is a reference to the Camellia song titled “#1f1e33.” That leads me straight into music, I like many types of music, but my playlist mostly consists of J-Rock J-Metal and various types of genres, all encompassed under a global (Rhythm Game) tag really. I find all of my music through rhythm games, and this is really just what the most common genres in the games are. Some of my favourite artists / songs include:

I also play other games such as (sometimes) Rainbow 6 and I like to speedrun the singleplayer of Grand Theft Auto V. Although, the online is decent too. One day last year, I was bored in class. Thats where my geography journey started. I am now a masters division player in Geoguessr and know way too much about geography. All of my games are played on my computer, of which I’ve had for years. Its starting to run slow but it can still run everything I need it to. I also have a Nintendo Switch, where I play the classics of course, Mario Kart, the Legend of Zelda series (Tears of the Kingdom soon!), Mario party and many more.
